Dorothea Myrtle Carnali

Carnali, Dorothea Myrtle (DiBona) of Quincy, died February 7, 2018.

Myrtle graduated from Quincy High School in 1952 and went on to work at Quincy Trust for 14 years. She left to get married and start a family and then went back to work for the City of Quincy Treasury Department for 19 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling to Europe in the 50’s and then went back after retiring. She was an animal lover, liked to garden, a member of the Quincy Retirement Association, and worked at the polling booths during elections up until recently. Myrtle’s son was the light of her life and helped her throughout the years. She was a good person who lived by the “Golden Rule”. She wants everyone to know that she lived a good life and will miss everyone dearly.

Daughter of the late Romeo and Pearl DiBona. Beloved wife of the late Robert Carnali. Devoted mother of Thomas Carnali of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 12-2 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 2 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Myrtle may be made to Quincy Animal Shelter, PO Box 690088, Quincy, MA 02269.
