Reimels, Doris M. (Messmer) of Weymouth, passed away February 21, 2018.

Doris was born in Hartford, CT to the late Oscar and Elizabeth Messmer. She attended Hartford High School and earned her Associates Degree at Bay Path College. Doris loved to spend time with her family at their summer home on Money Island in Stony Creek, CT and spent many years volunteering at St. Clares.

Beloved mother of Ann Kent and the late Wally Kent of Abington, William Reimels and Donna of CA, John Reimels and Linda of Scituate and Paul Reimels and Karen of N. Attleboro. Cherished Grandmother of Michael, Tricia, Daniel, Gregory, Brian, Jonathan, Kristin, Christopher and Matthew and great-grandmother of Justin, Dylan, Sophie and Noelle.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 5-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Burial in Plain Street Cemetery, Braintree.
