Hernon, Doris A. of Quincy, died November 25, 2021.  

Doris adored her family and spending time down the Cape with them. She loved swimming at the beach, traveling, photography, playing tennis and later in life, the piano. She worked at Cabot Corp. in the tax department for her whole career. Doris loved her dogs and any dog she met. She was a loving and caring woman who would always put others first and help those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Martin M. and Sarah R. (Connors) Hernon. Loving sister of Mildred M. Hernon of Quincy, Sally Donohoe of Duxbury, and the late Agnes T. Foley and Richard F. Hernon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 8:30-9:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Divine Mercy Parish, 386 Hancock St., Quincy, MA 02171. At the request of the family, masks are required.
