Dominic J. Galluzzo, Jr.

Dominic J. Galluzzo, Jr. of East Bridgewater, MA passed away on October 11, 2021 after courageously fighting a long illness.  

Beloved husband of Geraldine “Gerry” (Fairclough) Galluzzo of East Bridgewater, MA; devoted father of Helen Galluzzo of Whitman, MA, Mark and Lynne Galluzzo of Kingston, MA, Michael and Kelly Galluzzo of Kingston, MA and Christine and Butch Girouard of Marshfield MA; proud Papa of Matthew Galluzzo and Joseph Girouard.  Also survived by his brothers Joseph Galluzzo of Concord, MA, John Galluzzo of Weymouth, MA and sister Mary Ann Bryan of Hingham, MA as well as his Aunts Rosalie Bravo and Joan Bravo.  He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Dominic Galluzzo, Sr. and Mary (Macauda) Galluzzo, his sisters Victoria Fay, Carmella Wentworth and his brother Robert Galluzzo.

Dominic and the love of his life, Gerry, raised their four children in Weymouth, MA.  He had a successful retail sales career and proudly supported his children’s athletic, academic and musical endeavors.  Dominic was active in many civic organizations, serving as President of the Weymouth Music Parents Association and the East Weymouth Neighborhood Association.  He was an avid floral designer and gardener, however family and food were his two biggest joys in life.  He was at his happiest when menu-planning and cooking for the next big family get-together.  His sense of humor and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who love him. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
