Dennis M. Ash, of North Weymouth, died July 26, 2016 surrounded by his family after a long illness. Dennis graduated from Boston College High School and attended Boston College. He was a proud member of IBEW Local 103 for 34 years, retiring in 2005. Dennis was a past member of the Weymouth Elks. He enjoyed fishing, attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events and was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan. He will be remembered for his quick wit and entertaining one-liners.   

Beloved husband of 47 years to Kathleen (Gingrow) Ash of North Weymouth. Devoted father of Brian Ash and his wife Wendy of Westwood and Danielle Kenney and her husband Chris of Milton. Cherished Gampy to Mary, Christopher, Declan, Chloe, Paige, Maggie and Dennis. Loving brother of Robert Ash and his wife Janet of Brewster and the late Richard and Thomas Ash. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dennis may be made to Southwood at Norwell Nursing Home, 501 Cordwainer Dr, Norwell, MA 02061.
