Daniel Malvesta of Braintree, died September 15, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve (Mellett) Malvesta. Loving father of Susanah Tejada and her husband Joaquin of Braintree.

Devoted brother of Robert Malvesta and his wife Nancy of Eaton, NH.

Daniel grew up in Quincy, MA and was a proud W.W. II Navy Veteran. He graduated from Boston University where he received his Masters of Education. He served the Quincy Public Schools for 41 years as a teacher, Asst. Principal, and finally Principal, retiring from Parker Elementary School in 1993. He loved history, and served as a tourguide at the Adams’ Church in Quincy for several seasons. A talented piano player, he was passionate about music, often attending the symphony. He was a voracious reader and moviegoer. Daniel will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
