Claire A. Christmas

Claire A. (O’Connor) Christmas of North Weymouth, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2019 at the age of 88.

Claire enjoyed her work as a home health aide and also as a salesperson for Mary Kay Cosmetics for several years. She was a true people person and made a lasting impression on all those she met. In recent years, Claire cherished her weekly appointments at Noreen’s Finally Hair Salon on Middle Street in Weymouth, where she had many friends. She was also an avid reader. Faith was central in Claire’s life and she was an active communicant at St. Jerome Church in Weymouth. Claire was a friend of Bill W. for over 48 successful years.

She was the beloved wife of almost 69 years to Robert F. Christmas. Loving mother of Cheryl A. Cain and her husband Michael of South Weymouth, Michelle Ham and her husband Wayne of Weymouth, and Shawn K. Christmas and his wife Heidi of Braintree. Sister of the late Mary Bilotas. Proud “Nana/Nina” of Paige Murphy, Jake Christmas, Luke Christmas and the late Brooke Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 11:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 12 PM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Claire may be made to St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge Street, Weymouth, MA 02191.
