Aicardi, Catherine M. “Kay” (Manning) of Weymouth, died August 15, 2017.

Kay was born in Boston to the late Robert and Margaret Manning. She graduated from Regis College in 1949 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.  A kind and gentle woman, she was a devoted mother and grandmother whose family meant the world to her. Her other careers included legal secretary and executive secretary at Dimension Cable in Weymouth. Kay was a devoted Catholic who never missed a 4:00 Mass wherever she lived. For years, she enjoyed walking with the Happy Hikers Club in Weymouth before she moved to Hanover. She also loved to play bingo and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with her husband. Kay was a loyal Boston sports fan, who particularly loved the Patriots.

Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Donald V. Aicardi. Devoted mother to Karen Skinner and her husband Wayne of Central Square, NY, Robert V. Aicardi and his wife Theresa of E. Bridgewater, Donald V. Aicardi and his wife Mary of Shrewsbury and Christina M. Maguire of Norwell. Kay leaves behind 8 grandchildren and a brother Robert Manning of Camillus, NY. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Saunders of Lynchburg, VA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 5-9 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
