Catherine (Smith) Walsh, 67, passed away Saturday November 25 surrounded by loved ones. Catherine who went by Cathy was a long time resident of Hull, MA. Cathy worked as a custodian for the Newton Public School system for a number of years. Cathy loved to cook and was a devoted wife and mother.
Cathy is survived by her husband Larry Walsh of Hull, her children: David MacLennan of Quincy, Betsy Murphy and husband Thomas Murphy of Abington, Jason Walsh and his wife Cristin Walsh of Bridgewater, Ryan Walsh of Hull, Marie Smith and her husband Stephen Smith of Manchester, CT. Grandchildren: Amber Carter and husband Jonathan Carter, Jonathan Hagberg, Adam Murphy, Alexa Pace, Ayden Walsh, Avery Walsh, Kaylen Smith, Catherine Smith, Anna Smith. Great granddaughter Ruby Carter. Several siblings, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by so many; but her resounding affirmation for all that is joyful and her strong spirit of love and warmth lives on for all those her life has touched. Family and friends may join in a celebration of her life on December 7, from 4-8 at The Axis at Lakeshore 2050 Pleasant St, Bridegewater, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the seasons hospice foundation. http://
