Carole Lynne (Bundy) Greenhalgh

Private Service

Greenhalgh, Carole Lynne (Bundy), 73, of Hull, formerly of Marshfield Hills and Scottsville, VA died April 13, 2018.  Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was daughter of the late Charles William and Dorothy Charlotte (Cilles) Bundy. Carole earned her BA in English from Bowling Green State University, and, more recently, was an educator in the Scituate Public Schools.  She greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and was a member of Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston.  An avid horseback rider and runner of the Boston Marathon in 1990, “Mimzy” was known as a fashion icon within her circle.  Friends and family will miss sharing her many esoteric interests. She was a voracious reader and a thinker, always endeavouring to reconcile the connection between nature and a healthy mind and body. Her greatest joy was her family; Carole was the devoted mother of Colby L. of Lowell, Sean M. (Elizabeth) of Jamaica Plain and Colin R. (Jessica) of Salem and loving grandmother of Clara M. and Samuel R. Greenhalgh.  Sister of Dorothy L. Rice of Hull, and the late Jeffrey A. and Charles W. Bundy Jr., Carole is also survived by many nieces and nephews. All services for Carole are private.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Carole’s memory may be made to Trustees of Reservations, 200 High St. Boston, MA 02110, or visit thetrustees.org.
