“Bunny” Alyce M. Kelley

Kelley, “Bunny” Alyce M., age 82, of Quincy (63 years), formerly of Roxbury, passed away peacefully September 29, 2017 at Boston Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Kelley, cherished sister of Jean Gibbons, Barbara Meany, and predeceased by her sister Florence (Sissy) Bussiere and brothers Arthur Kelley and Robert Kelley.  Loving aunt to Kevin Meany,Thomas Meany, Pam Kiley, Linda Servin, Bobby Kelley, Nancy Hanley, Mary Ellen Driscoll, Donna Kelley, Marianne Kelley-Griffiths, Clare Sullivan, Arthur Kelley, and the late Daniel J. Meany, III.  Special friend to Phyllis Sullivan and Mary Beth Tamulevicz.

Bunny graduated from St. Patrick’s High School, Roxbury and worked at Stone & Webster Engineering Company, Boston for her entire career. Bunny was a truly kind soul, loved by all who met her.  She will be deeply missed and remembered because she was so special.  Bunny’s family would like to thank and acknowledge the caring and compassionate doctors and staff at Boston Medical Center and Marina Bay Skilled Nursing Facility for her longtime health care.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bunny’s life on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy.  Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carmelites of Boston, 61 Mount Pleasant Ave., Roxbury, MA 02119, or a charity of one’s choice.
