Beverly Tena McDonald

Beverly Tena Andler McDonald, age 67, of Duxbury, MA, died suddenly on April 13th 2019 in Florida. Born in Brookline to the late Louis and Shirley Sargent Andler, Beverly was a beloved mother, survived by her only son Brendan McDonald, his wife Rebecca as well as her grandson Harrison of Weymouth, MA. Beverly also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Karen Andler, widow of Beverly’s brother Irwin Andler, and three nephews Larry, Rob and Eric Andler.

Beverly graduated from Boston University in 1970 and held several different careers throughout her lifetime including a school bus driver and substitute teacher. She retired in 2014 from her job as a CNA at Harrington House in Walpole. She also worked as a home health aide to several clients who became close, personal friends. Beverly, not Bev, died a happy woman. She was heading home with her dog Mabel to reunite with her family and her small circle of close friends in Massachusetts. Beverly may not have always been an upbeat person but as she grew and matured through her life she learned how to enjoy the most out of every single day, her way. Beverly loved her morning walks through her neighborhoods in Massachusetts and Florida, though she especially loved the ocean. She spent many years in Hull at Nantasket Beach, recently taking several trips as “Meme” helping Harrison find rocks and shells on the shoreline.

Those desiring may make a donation in Beverly’s memory to the Save the Manatee Club https://www.savethemanatee.org

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Sunday April 28th, from 12 – 2 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
