Barry R. Dowling of Weymouth, died June 18, 2018 at the age of 74.

He was the son of Edward P. Dowling and Frances (Mullens) Dowling of Framingham.  Barry, who enjoyed playing baseball and football for Framingham High School, was also a devoted Red Sox fan who celebrated heartily with their 2004 Championship. He ran his own cleaning business for many years in the Greater Boston Area.  When his children were growing up, he coached softball, baseball and soccer teams.

He is survived by his nine children: Michelle Dowling of ME, Cynthia Dowling of PA, Paula Dowling of HI, Jimmy Dowling of NH, Janet Dowling of FL, Beth Doyle, Brendon Dowling, and Edward Dowling of MA, and Frances Dowling of NC.  He was the brother of Elena P. Dowling of VA and the late Edward F. Dowling of VA as well as being the grandfather to sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday from 9-11 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home 809 Main Street So Weymouth (Rte 18 opposite So. Shore Hospital) followed by a service at 11 AM.  Burial will be private.
