Barbara Ann Graham

Graham, Barbara Ann (McCaffrey) of Pembroke, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully August 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, gardening, and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed cutting coupons and sharing them with family, friends, and even strangers. She also enjoyed sharing her many sought after recipes. She loved the ocean. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball, boating and scuba diving. She was a founding member of the women’s Norfolk Yacht Club and served as Vice-Commodore in its first year. Barbara was fiercely independent, self sufficient, and handy with home repairs. She was frequently first to offer a helping hand when needed. A strong, funny, and smart woman who will be greatly missed.

Barbara was born August 12, 1939 in Boston and grew up in Brookline. She was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (O’Brien) McCaffrey. Loving mother of Karen King and her husband Bruce of Kingston, Jaime Dwyer and her husband Matthew of Pembroke, and the late Joseph and Michael Arsenault. Cherished sister of Dorothy Driscoll of California, James McCaffrey of Boston, and the late John, Robert, and Thomas McCaffrey, Joan Reardon, and MaryLou Katsafanas. Beloved “Grammy” of Laurie McGrath and her husband John of Rockland, Michael Picot and his wife Andrea of Easton, and Joseph and Allison Dwyer of Pembroke. Loving Great “Gram-Gram” to Michael and Nolan Picot. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
