Mrs. Barbara A. (Greene) Lewis, of Weymouth, passed away on July 21, 2018.

Barbara was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester, she had lived in Weymouth for 32 years before moving to Quincy in 2002. She worked for many years as a secretary at South Shore Bank before retiring in 1993. She was also a member of the associate’s club at the bank. Barbara was very proud that she had the honor to walk in two Christmas parades as Mother Goose and Mother Hubbard. She was also a volunteer for the special olympics, a library mom at the Weymouth Elementary Schools, and enjoyed playing cards and trips to Foxwoods. Barbara will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus T. Lewis, Jr. Loving mother of Barbara Moreau and her husband Edward, of Northfield, Dorothy Breen of Halifax, Thaddeus T. Lewis, III and his wife Cheryl, of Lake in the Hills, IL, Loretta A. French and her husband Kevin of Pompano Beach,FL.  Sister of Herbert Greene of Albany, N.Y, Elizabeth Flaherty and her husband, William, of Kingston and the late William Greene, Edwina Poston, George Greene and Eleanor Irwin. Proud Nana to Deana Lewis, Amanda Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Spencer Mathews, and Jessica Breen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
