Burgess, Audrey N. (MacLennan) of Quincy, died April 27, 2015.
Mrs. Burgess was devoted to and an inspiration for her family. A caretaker by nature, she was a Registered Nurse with Quincy City Hospital for 25 years. She also took care of her husband’s health needs for 29 years while at the same time raising six children. She enjoyed arts & crafts, BINGO, and trips to Foxwoods.
Beloved wife of the late Edward H. Burgess. Loving mother of Carolann Burgess of Quincy, Edward Burgess of Quincy, Michael Burgess of Rockland, Janet Galvin and her husband Scott of Quincy, Audrey Burgess of Dorchester and Donna Burgess of Quincy. Sister of William Burgess of KY and aunt of Bertha Bianchi of Weymouth. Gramma to Jessica, Victoria, Julia, Matthew, Jason, Alicia, Mary, Michael, Tina and Brian. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11 AM. Guests will gather at the Greenleaf Street entrance.
