Armand J. Bolduc

Armand J. Bolduc of Quincy, Massachusetts recently passed away at the age of 103 after a long and very good life.

Born in 1913 in Quebec, Canada, Armand immigrated to the United States as a young man of 16 determined to shape a life of his own making with energy, independence and joie de vivre.  A lifelong craftsman, Armand worked as a carpenter, general contractor and builder of homes, a factory worker, and a building superintendent and always brought care and commitment to whatever he did.  In his own words he said, “I was blessed with two loving women in this life,”  his first wife Lucille with whom he had four children, and then later in life Ethel, who shared his love for the Florida Keys and retirement.  Always devoted to and surrounded by a large and loving family, Armand lived with moderation in all things save for how much he loved and was loved.  He was fiercely independent, a person of deep faith, a voracious reader, a teller of stories and a world class Jeopardy player.  He will be very much missed but he leaves this world a better and more loving place.

Husband of the late Lucille (Quesnel) Bolduc and the late Ethel (Cochran) Bolduc. Loving father of Louise Hudson and her late husband Edward Hudson, Carol Howley and her late husbands Walter Corwin and James Howley, Nancy Vitali and her late husband Oscar Vitali, Mark A. Bolduc and his wife Linda Bolduc, William Cochran and his wife Carol Cocran, John Cochran and his wife Elizabeth Cochran and James Cochran.  Brother of the late Marc Bolduc and Noella Ribbans. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, June 9th from 4-8 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10th at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy.
