Anthony F. “Tony” Rivieccio

Anthony Francis “Tony” Rivieccio, of Hull passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, December 24, 2018. He was 51.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Hull and was the son of the late Beverly A. Rivieccio. Tony graduated from Hull High School with the Class of 1985.

Following high school, Tony continued his education and began his career as an Accountant. He specialized in the tax industry, and started his own firm, RTR Tax Service, later to become Revvy Tax Service. Tony has been self employed and running his business for over 25 years. He loved his job and truly enjoyed helping his clients.

In his spare time, you would find Tony spending time with his beloved son, Anthony. He was so proud of the young man Anthony has grown to be. When he and his son had the availability, Tony would vacation with Anthony in Tampa, Florida at their condo. They enjoyed their rest and relaxation at the beach.

Tony was a phenomenal cook. Because it was one of his favorite things to do, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t make and it always came out perfect. His son’s favorite dish was Tony’s homemade pasta and sauce.

A Boston sports fan, when it was quiet and Tony was at home relaxing, you would find him watching a game on the television. Though Tony was a Boston sports fan, he quickly became a University of Alabama football fan after his son was accepted to the university.

Tony was a kind man who lived his life around the pillars of faith, hope and charity. He always took the opportunity to sponsor youth athletics and donate what he could to other charitable organizations. Tony was very community driven and always wanted to help the people around him.

Tony’s selflessness, kindness and loving personality now continue through his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched.

Tony was the devoted father of Anthony J. Rivieccio of Hull and the dear brother of Joseph Rivieccio of Medford and Louis Rivieccio of Hull. He was the dear brother-in-law of Maureen Rivieccio of Hull. Tony is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Rivieccio.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, January 3rd from 4 through 7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

His funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday evening, January 3rd at 7 PM in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. Interment will be held privately.
