Tierney, Annette M. (McManus) of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, died March 3, 2023. She was 84.

Born in Boston in 1938 to the late Kieren and Gertrude (McLaughlin) McManus.

Annette attended local schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She held many jobs in her lifetime. Annette’s favorite jobs were when she worked at Quincy Answering Service and also the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Braintree for many years. She married the love of her life Robert in 1958 and were together until his passing in 2005.

Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Tierney. Loving mother to Robert J. Tierney and his wife Lisa of Norwell. Nana to Kevin R. Tierney and wife Randi of Kansas, Ryan J. Tierney and his wife Rebecca of Virginia, and Shawn M. Tierney and Emily Chouinard of Weymouth. Great Nana to Lilly, Connor, Brayden, Tyler, and Mackenzie. Sister of Patricia Smith and her husband Harvey of Hanover, Kieren (Toby) McManus and his wife Gail of Halifax, Eleanor Schmidt of Middleboro, and Daniel McManus and his wife Jean of East Bridgewater. Predeceased by her twin siblings, Paul McManus and Marilyn Oliveri.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated immediately following visiting hours on Monday at 11:00 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
