Anne M. (Rieker) Ward of Kingston, formerly of Duxbury and North Weymouth, died October 30, 2018.

Anne worked at Weymouth High School in the guidance department for many years. She enjoyed traveling, reading and watching Boston sports, especially the Red Sox. Anne was proud of her Irish heritage and devout in her faith. Her family was the foundation of all that was important to her. She will be deeply missed.   

Beloved wife of the late George Ward. Devoted mother of Jane George and her husband Robert of Duxbury, Kathleen Eaton and her husband Daniel of Duxbury, Joseph Ward and his companion Elizabeth Cronin of Weymouth, Gail Anderson and her husband Michael of Duxbury and Patrick Ward and his wife Sabina Matos of RI. Cherished Nana of Timothy, Meaghan, Brian, Deirdre, Devin, Kerin, Connor, Bridget, Maura, Annemarie and great-granddaughter Jessica. Loving sister of the late Eileen LeBlanc, Joan Beaudoin and Patricia Byrne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, North Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
