Ann (Gavin) DePlacido of Weymouth, died July 24, 2019. Ann worked as a professor for many years at Umass Boston. She was a teacher in and out of the classroom and loved being around the many children in the family. She enjoyed reading, shopping and antiques. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing or learning from her.
Beloved wife of the late Preston DePlacido. Loving sister of Joseph Gavin and his wife Diane of Weymouth, the late William Gavin and his widow Marjorie of Weymouth and the late Sheila Gavin. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth on Monday at 10:30 AM.
Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
