Angela Angelus Laitta, of Hingham, formerly of Cohasset, passed away on Thursday, December 1st 2016, surrounded by her husband, Laurence, and her beloved family. 

Angela grew up in Lawrence Massachusetts and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1946.  She lived and worked in Boston and Hartford Connecticut until 1956 when she met Laurence J. Laitta.

Angela and Laurence traveled the globe, inspiring the appreciation of adventure and understanding to all who knew her. Above all else, Angela loved her children and family. At home, Angela adored the ocean, crossword puzzles, and was a very passionate and invincible Scrabble player.

Angela was the devoted and loving wife of 60 years to Laurence J. Laitta of Cohasset and cherished mother of the late Laurence (Larry) Jr., Gina White of Raynham, Michael Laitta and his husband Paul Dwyer of Washington, DC, Craig Laitta and his wife Pia of New York, Karen Lundholm and her husband Richard of Sarasota, Florida.  She was grandmother of Justin Lundholm of  Sarasota Florida.  Angela was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Sperounis, Eda Webster, Aristea (Stella) Donovan and Hank Angelus. Angela is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law Tess Angelus of Westwood, Massachusetts, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral home service Saturday at 2 PM followed by visiting hours on Saturday 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham.
