Ana Maria Porrata-Doria, of Braintree, passed away October 8, 2015.

Beloved daughter of the late Adolfo and Jean M. (Harding) Porrata-Doria. Loving sister of Adriana Porrata-Doria of San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Dear aunt of Adriana and Fabiana Acaron & Tirtza and Riqva Porrata-Doria. 

Ana earned her Masters Degree in Bilingual Education from Boston University. She was a City of Boston elementary school teacher who taught second grade at The John Marshall Elementary School for over 35 years. Ana was the recipient of the Golden Apple Award for her dedication to education.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth.
