Vena, Alta P. ( Kidder) of Quincy died on July 26, 2015. Alta is the beloved wife of the late Michael P. Vena; loving mother of Michael L. Vena and his wife, Sheri, of Raynham and Kevin Vena of Dorchester; and cherished grandmother of Nicole and Michael J. Vena of Raynham.
Alta was born in Sherman, West Virginia. She worked for Boston Financial Data Services for many years before retiring. She enjoyed Bingo, trips to Foxwoods, meeting with her friends at Martensen Street and family gatherings. Alta cherished her children and grandchildren. They were truly the most important aspect of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4 to 7 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, followed by a service in the funeral home at 7 PM.
