Albert J. Perette, Jr. of Weymouth, died April 30, 2018.

Al proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He went on to have a successful career as the owner of Al’s Barbershop in Weymouth for over 60 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with longtime fellow veteran friends. Al was also an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish.

Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Marilyn (Pitts) Perette. Devoted father of Michael Perette of North Falmouth, Robert Perette and his wife Amy of Weymouth, Jon Perette and his companion Beth of Scituate and Joseph Perette and his companion Holly of Plymouth. Cherished Papa of 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Dorothy Perette Laird of Rockland. Dear friend of Vernon Drysdale of Pembroke, Dick Ramponi of Weymouth and the late Bob Lovering.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
