Agnes V. “Joey” Milisi

Agnes V. (Baker) Milisi,  lovingly known as Jo and Joey to her family and many friends, passed away on August 1, 2017 surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Milisi. Daughter of the late Charles and Winifred (Skinner) Baker from Torquay, Devon, England. Sister of the late Winifred, Eileen, Phyllis, Margaret, Joyce, Charles and John. Sister in law to Sylvia Baker, Theresa Andrewski, Katherine Finnegan, Josephine and Tom Costello, Bill Robinson and the late Mary Robinson. Loving mother of Jennifer Kerrigan, Rosemarie Rosemond and her husband Donald, Lynda Yalmokas, Thomas J. Milisi, Cheryl Milisi and her husband Tim Donovan, Joseph Milisi and wife Pamela and Robert Milisi and his wife Amy. Mother in law to Michele Milisi and the late James Kerrigan and Edward Yalmokas. She is the cherished Nana to many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Agnes “Joey” came to America at the age of 16, coming from a lovely seaside town in England, leaving all her family to settle in South Boston with her husband Thomas and her new family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday, August 4 from 10 -1pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 1pm. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joey may be made to Fr. Bills Place, 38 Broad Street, Quincy,MA 02169 or to Good Shepherd Community Care Hospice, 90 Wells Avenue, Newton, MA.
