Agnes D. Wisnes

Wisnes, Agnes D. (Carney) of Quincy, died October 3, 2015. 

Agnes was born in Boston and graduated from Monsignor Ryan High School.  She was a devoted mother and cherished the meals she cooked for her family.  Agnes enjoyed traveling and watching movies.  She was an avid sports fan, especially for the Patriots and Red Sox. Agnes will be remembered for her caring manner and generous spirit.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pre-deceased by the love of her life Bernard R. Wisnes.  Beloved mother of Catherine Smyth and her husband Charles of Winchester, Richard Wisnes and his wife Teresa of Hanover, Mark Wisnes and his companion Jennifer Doherty Kavanagh of Roslindale, John Wisnes and his wife Cathie of Weymouth and the late Mary Frances Wisnes. Devoted Grandma of Charlie and John Smyth and Alex, Michael and Sophia Wisnes.  Loving daughter of the late Michael and Mary Carney.  Caring sister of the late John Carney, Thomas Carney, Mary Carney, Nora Sullivan, Joseph Carney, Catherine Carney and James Carney.  Cherished sister in law of Joan Carney of Milton.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Quincy.
