Cogswell, Cecilia Jean (Smith) of Candia, NH formerly of Weymouth, MA, died suddenly on October 6, 2017.

The beloved wife of over 50 years to the late William Cogswell. Loving mother of Kent Cogswell and his partner Lola of Laconia, NH, John Cogswell and his partner Liz of Fall River, Charles Cogswell and his wife Audrey of Windsor, ME Cecilia Aufiero and her partner Greg of Brockton, Mary Obey and her husband Stephen of North Weymouth, Robert Cogswell and his wife Debra of South Weymouth, Valerie Burke and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater, David Cogswell and his wife Chris of Wareham, Susan Higgins and her husband David of Leicester, Richard Cogswell and his partner Joannie of Rockland, Robin Hewson and her husband Brian of Upton, Nancy Webb of Weymouth, Mark Cogswell of Loudon, NH, Matthew Cogswell and his partner Jeff Garon of Candia, NH and William Cogswell and his wife Lisa of Loudon, NH. Sister of the late Mary Leone and Charles Smith. Cecilia is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cecilia volunteered for the Town of Candia New Hampshire, she was an avid reader and loved spending time outdoors gardening. She was always up to the challenge for a crossword puzzle and enjoyed adult coloring. She had a very special place in her heart for her animals, she was filled with love and always ready to share it with them. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother and a cherished grandmother. Although broken hearted at her sudden loss, her family feels fortunate for all the blessings she brought into their lives. She will be sadly missed.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
