Beloved husband of the late Edith (Pescatore) DeLeo. Dear and devoted father of Karen Lynne DeLeo and her fiancé Frederick Burke of Braintree. Brother of Frederick DeLeo of Braintree, Mary Colleameno of Boston, the late Phyllis Tavanese and Carmela Natorelli both of Medford, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born on January 10, 1923 and raised in Boston’s North End to the late Carmen and Louisa (Capucci) DeLeo originally of Avellino, Italy.  Anthony loved all animals, working in his yard and immensely enjoyed his long walks along Nantasket Beach regardless of weather.

Family and friends will honor Anthony’s life by gathering Saturday morning October 10AM at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 3 Charles St, East Weymouth, from 9AM to 11AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Weymouth.
