Zachary H. Monaco

Monaco, Zachary H. of Boxford, died unexpectedly on July 17, 2016.  

Devoted father of Nahla Monaco and her mother Elizabeth Smithers of Onset. Loving son of Thomas Monaco of Abington and Jeanne Conroy Monaco and her companion Charles Menary of Boxford. Loving brother of Chelsea Monaco of Abington, Michael Monaco of Boston, and Caitlin Shepherd and her husband Gregg of Chelsea. Grandson of Kathleen Monaco of Abington and the late Enrico Monaco, Eugene Conroy, and Geraldine Conroy. Uncle of Isla Ross of Cohasset. Zachary also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Zachary had zest for life. He had a warm and charismatic personality, and would light up a room when he walked in. He was an amazing listener and had a generous heart, always giving to others. Zachary will be remembered as a loyal and devoted father, son, brother and friend. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street, Hingham Friday at 10 AM.  Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Zachary may be made to the Educational Fund for Nahla Monaco, c/o Hingham Institution for Savings, 55 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
