William V. “Bill” Harris

Harris, William V. “Bill” of Quincy December 5, 2007. Beloved husband of Anne D. (Katundi) Harris of Quincy. Devoted father of Joseph Harris of CA and William Harris of OH. Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Bill was an Honorably Discharged Veteran serving in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a Technical Sergeant 881st AntiAircraft Artillery Gun Battery in the South Pacific. Bill was a letter carrier in South Boston for over 30 years, retiring in 1974. After retiring from the Post Office, Bill was employed for over 20 years at the Quincy YMCA where he worked at the Membership Control Desk. Bill was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed his blessings, grandchildren and the Red Sox. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 5 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON. Funeral Service will be in the Albanian Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, 523 E. Broadway, So. Boston on Monday at 10:00 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in memory of William “Bill” Harris may be made to Albanian Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, 523 Broadway, So. Boston, MA 02127.
