William T. Deason

Deason, William T. of Quincy, passed away June 3, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Marlborough) Deason. Loving father of Elaine F. Deason-Thompson of Robertsdale, Alabama, Richard K. Deason of Quincy, Thomas P. Deason and his wife, Jana of Foley, Alabama, and the late Scott W. Deason. Grandfather of James H. Thompson, Courtney E. Bradley, and Catherine M. Deason. Great-grandfather of James H. Thompson, Jr. William was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on June 5, 1923, a son of the late Tillman and Addie (Basinger) Deason, and had lived in Quincy for the past 51 years. Until his retirement, he had worked for twenty years for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. He was also a member of the Quincy Yacht Club, and was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Navy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 5 – 9 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial will be in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
