William T. ‘Bill’ Traverse

Traverse, William P. ‘Bill’, of Braintree, passed away June 15, 2011. Beloved Son of Joan (McIsaac) Traverse of Quincy and Robert Traverse and his wife, Jean, of Halifax. Loving Father of Jessica L. Traverse and her mother, Emma Hassey both of Braintree. Brother of Joanna Durette of Quincy, Bonnie Dugas of Whitman, Fred Traverse of Quincy, Robert Traverse of Quincy, and Daniel Traverse of Weymouth. Also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews. Bill was born in Boston and had lived many years in Dorchester before moving to Braintree fifteen years ago. In his spare time, he enjoyed walking, traveling, reading, and took much pleasure spending time with his daughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
