William T. “Bill” Morgan

William T. “Bill” Morgan of East Weymouth, originally of South Boston, died peacefully on January 19, 2016 at the age of 87.

Bill worked as an electrician for the MBTA and was a member of IBEW Local #103, Boston. Bill’s genuine kindness to others and devotion to his family and friends will be truly missed by many.

Bill was the beloved and devoted husband of 49 years to Theresa A. (Carroll) Morgan. Loving father of Matthew J. Morgan and his wife Jodie of Weymouth, Julie A. Frick and husband Craig of Gaithersburg, MD, and the late Mark T. Morgan. Cherished “Papa” of Shannon, Kasy and Conor Morgan; and Chad, Cameron, Reed and Brett Frick. Brother of Margaret Bellew of Groton, Paul Morgan of South Boston, Mary Guarino of Reading and the late Esther, James, Robert and Joseph Morgan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Mark T, Morgan Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Bank of America, 1 Whiting St., Hingham, MA 02043 .
