William J. Shea

Shea, William J. "Willie" of East Weymouth, died suddenly on June 25, 2024 at the age of 60. He was a graduate of Weymouth North High School Class of 1981 where he played soccer and basketball, and a Stonehill College graduate Class of 1985, where he was a member of the soccer team. 

Will worked as a Corporate Facilities Director for Five Star Quality Care in Newton for 23 years and more recently for Cushman & Wakefield in Cambridge. He was an avid golfer and a long time member at South Shore Country Club where he loved to spend his days golfing in rain, shine or even snow. He loved being outdoors, spending many days at Nantasket Beach in the sunshine and going for hikes with his walking stick. He was a member of the Weymouth Sportsman’s Club and a 2nd Lt. in the Army Reserves. 

He was the loving father of Devyn Shea of North Quincy; Joe Shea of Weymouth; and Kiara Kupris and her husband Devin of Hanson. Son of Mary Shea of Hingham and the late Richard Shea. Brother of Richard Shea of Scituate and MaryEllen Gorman of Hingham. Former husband of Donna A. Shea of Andover. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 7/2/24 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Will may be made to First Tee – Massachusetts, 300 W Main Street, Norton, MA 02766.
