William R. Donovan

Donovan, William R. “Bill” of Braintree, died suddenly October 6, 2014. 

Bill grew up in Quincy, attending Quincy High School Votec and graduating from North Quincy High School in 1981.  He was a member of the Atlantic House in Quincy.  Bill enjoyed camping, riding his bike, photography, making movies and building model airplanes and cars.  His main passion was spending time with his family and friends.  Bill will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Beloved son of Mary A. Donovan (Tompkins) of Quincy and the late Norman F. Donovan.  Loving brother of Brian Donovan of Halifax and sister-in-law Charlotte Donovan of Braintree.  Caring uncle of Samantha and Brian Donovan.  Also survived by many cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
