William P. Slattery

William P. Slattery of Hull, MA passed away Dec. 22, 2023 at the age of 90. He was born in Cambridge, MA on June 20, 1933. Bill was the youngest of five children (Jack, James, Mary and Pat) of Margaret and James Slattery. Following in his older brother’s footsteps after WW2, he joined the Coast Guard during the Korean War. After his time in the service he returned to Hull and worked briefly for the Hull Police Department before getting hired by Bell Atlantic for 35 years until he retired. Bill loved to travel, tell stories, going to the beach, the Celtics and would ask everyone to solve his riddles.

Bill leaves behind three children from Nancy (Smith), Melissa of Shirley, James of Dedham and Scott of Uxbridge. He also leaves behind one child from Lee (Evans), Christopher of Braintree. Bill has six grandchildren Julia, Sean, Mason, Francesca, Finneran and Siohban and two great grandchildren Julian and Presley.
