William P. Ridder M.D.

Ridder, William P., M.D. of Quincy, June 15, 2004. Beloved husband of Helen A. “Babi” (Bibinski), father of William P. Jr. of Alaska, Matthew G. of Weymouth and the late Susan Helfrich and Robert M. Ridder. Brother of Robert Ridder of Seattle, WA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Dr. Ridder was Chief of Surgery at Quincy Hospital and a member of the staff since 1952. He was a surgical consultant for the Commonwealth of MA Medicaid Program and Norfolk County Medical Examiner for many years. He was a graduate of Western Washington State Teachers College and Harvard Medical School, Class of 1942. A Rotarian since 1956 and Past President 1966-1967. He received the Paul Harris Award in 1983. He was also Past Grand Knight of the North Quincy Council Knights of Columbus.
