Langtry, William P. “Bill” of Quincy, formerly of Hull died October 30, 2013.
Loving son of Mary (Morano) Caparrotta of Hull and the late Ernesto Caparrotta. Beloved Fiancé of Kathie Bogdan of Quincy. Devoted father of John Langtry of Middleboro, Peter Langtry and his wife Dawn of Carver and Holly White and her husband Jerry of North Carolina. Brother of Joseph Caparrotta and his wife Mary-Jo of Hull, Rosemary Castellano and her husband Franco of Argentina, Linda Oldakowski and her husband Frank of Hull and Nancy Muscolino and her husband Joseph of Braintree. Cherished grandfather of Amanda White, Anna Langtry and Sarah Langtry. Bill is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bill was born in Boston and was a graduate of Hingham High School. He worked as a driver for the MBTA before retiring in 2012. Bill had a love for the ocean, his boat, traveling and cruising. Bill was an amazing cook who loved to make delicious meals for family and friends. He was a member of the Taunton Yacht Club. Bill was a Navy Veteran serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis aboard the USS Lexington.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1-4pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
