William O. “Billy” Conte

Conte, William O., of Weymouth formerly of Hull, January 22, 2007. Loving husband of Jennifer E. (Lees) Conte of Weymouth, devoted father of Anthony S., Christopher M. and Tina E. all of Weymouth and Ricky J. Conte of Quincy. Beloved son of Margaret Larson of FL and the late Dominic Conte. Brother of Robert Larson of Fl. Former husband of Elizabeth A. Conte of Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Monday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 11 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Mr. Conte was born and raised in Hull and attended Hull schools. Billy was Co-Owner and President of Sousa Lobster and Seafood Co. in Boston which he founded with his friend Michael Sousa. He was well respected throughout the seafood industry and took great pride in his business distributing seafood world wide. Before owning his own company Mr. Conte was Vice President of buying for Legal Seafoods in Boston for 17 years. Billy enjoyed boxing and baseball. In his early 20s he owned his own fishing boat and was a commerical fisherman. He was an avid weightlifter and competed in the Mr. New England bodybuilding competition in 1992. He also ran the Boston Marathon two times. Above all Billy was known for his love for his family and loyalty to his friends.
