Schulze, William L. Jr. “Bill” of Weymouth, passed away on February 28, 2019 surrounded by his wife and children.
Bill was born in Boston, the son of the late William and Marion (Miller) Schulze. He was a Metropolitan Police Officer for 31 years before retiring as a Massachusetts State Trooper for eight years in 2001. Bill enjoyed golfing, tennis, reading, watching the New England Patriots and always enjoyed a Cape Codder (or 2) while cooking and listening to his Pandora playlists in the kitchen. Bill was a proud United States Marine serving his country during the Korean War. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed his time with his children and grandchildren whether it was a special occasion or a random Tuesday night. Bill will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Beloved husband of Patricia C. “Pat” (Flynn) Schulze of Weymouth. Loving father of William L. Schulze, III and his wife Laura of Chelmsford, Andrea L. McWade of Derry, NH, Colleen M. Weiner, her husband Dan of Weymouth and Chandra H. Schulze of Dorchester. Brother of the late Louise Worswick. Proud and adoring “Pa” to Alex, Casey, Arthur, Hannah, Monika, Ella, Griffin, Cole, Preston, and Clara. Bill will be sorely missed by the entire Flynn Family. He will also miss spending time with his dogs,Dudley, Zuko, and the late Chu-Chu.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite # 6 Waltham, MA 02451.
