William L. “Bill” Barden

Barden, William L. of Quincy, died on Thursday, December 30, 2010. The beloved husband of the late Edna R. (Fromm) Barden. Loving father of Donna McSorley and her husband Peter of Braintree and Ronald W. Barden of North Quincy. Devoted grandfather of Peter McSorley of NY, Kaitlyn & Kara McSorley both of Braintree, Kelly Barden, Ronald “RJ” Barden and Mikey Barden all of North Quincy. Great grandfather of Nicholas & Connor McSorley both of NY. Brother of the late Jake, Richard, Edna, Kathleen and Helen. Bill grew up in Dorchester and worked for Boston Edison for 40 years retiring back in 1988. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife Edna and loved to watch football. He will be remembered as a quiet man with a loving heart who was always there for his family . Bill will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4 – 8pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 11:30 AM. Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
