William John “Billy” Foley of Weymouth, passed away quietly in his sleep on November 15, 2021. He was 48.
Born to Patricia Spring and the late William J. Foley in Quincy. Billy was raised in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School in the class of 1992. After graduated he served in the National Guard for 6 years and then became a Letter Carrier for the USPS.
In 2002, Billy suffered a tragic accident that would leave him paralyzed from the chest down, however he bravely challenged his adversity and never let it stop him from living life. In his spare time he enjoyed playing darts, spending time with family and friends and even enjoyed a ride in a helicopter with his friends. If you knew Billy, you loved him. He could read people like a book and was a source of strength and comfort to many.
Beloved son of Patricia Spring, and stepson of Roger spring, both of Hanover. Loving brother of Thomas Foley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
Special thanks to Karen Ahern of South Shore VNA in Rockland, who went above and beyond and took excellent care of Billy and to Dr. Lisa J. Gould who was very good to Billy. Thank you for all that you have done to help Billy along the way.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
