William J. McWalter, Jr. of Weymouth, died May 2, 2021 at the age of 60.
Billy worked as a machinist with Semline in Braintree for over 20 years. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and active member of the AA community as a member, sponsor and counselor. He loved music and could often be found singing, dancing, playing the trumpet or DJing. Billy enjoyed gardening, drawing, and spending time with his grandkids.
Devoted father of Tabitha McWalter of Hanson, Lyndsie Craig of West Bridgewater and William J. McWalter III of Whitman. Beloved son of Winnie and the late William J. McWalter of Weymouth. Former husband of Linda (Jackson) McWalter of Whitman. Cherished Papa of Kyliegh, Nicholas, Patrick, Matthew, Billy, Tommy, Kyle, Jackson, Allison and soon to be Baby Craig. Loving brother of Diana Lawless and her husband Fred of Plymouth and Keith McWalter and his wife Rene of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 12-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).
Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. If you are unable to gather together with Billy’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by clicking the link above and sharing a special memory or message.
