William J. Mcintyre

McIntyre, William J. “Mac” of Quincy, passed away January 18, 2013., he was 85.

The beloved husband of the late Rosalyn (Fadden) McIntyre. Father of Marie McMillen and her husband Roger of Bow, NH, Margaret Lahar and her husband Richard and Debra Rice all of Quincy. William McIntyre and his wife Susan of Groton, Daniel McIntyre and his wife Patricia of Abington and Virginia McIntyre of Canton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mac has been a member of Local #12 for more than 40 years. He held the title of shop steward during his career. He enjoyed building model ships and trains and also enjoyed gardening. A proud United States Army veteran. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:45 am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.  Donations in memory of William may be made to Alzheimers Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
