William J. Fillingim

Fillingim, William J. of Peabody, formerly of FL & Weymouth, April 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Hilda C. (McBride) Fillingim. Loving father of William J., Jr. of CO, Catherine A. Creighton of Lynnfield, Thomas E. of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Robert O. of Port Orange, FL, Alice J. Smith of Lakeville, Daniel C. of Nashua, NH, David P. of Norton, and Margaret J. Sullivan of Wilton, CT. Brother of Helen Fillingim of Winter Haven, FL, Mae D’Angelo of Quincy, and the late Doris Horner. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Fillingam was a decorated Navy veteran of WWII. He worked as an office manager in sales for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Boston Bons Vivants, the Delta New Alpha Trans Fraternity and the Trans Club of N.E. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. QUINCY, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
