William J. “Bill” Rourke

Rourke, William J. “Bill” or “Grampa” 93 of Wolfeboro,NH, formerly of Hingham, MA, passed away December 7, 2011 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Elaine M. (Ferreira) Rourke. Loving father of William D. Rourke of FL, John J. Rourke and his wife Margaret of Hingham and the late Richard P. Rourke. Father-in-law of Gail Rourke of Hull. “Grampa” is survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Bill was born in Waltham and grew up in Cambridge. He has lived in Wolfeboro for the last 3 1/2 years coming from Hingham and Port Richey, FL, where he resided for the past 65 years. He worked for many years as a Station Master for the MBTA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 10 – 10:45 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
