Donahue, William J. “Bill” of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, December 2, 2005. Beloved husband of Joyce (Goode) Donahue of Quincy. Devoted father of Linda McAteer of Quincy, Stephen W. Donahue of AL, Donna Deery of Quincy, Nancy Donahue of Quincy, Mary McManus of Braintree, and Sandra Creedan of Braintree. Loving brother of Gerry Donahue of Sharon, Geraldine Spencer of NH, Jean McDermott of Quincy, Claire McLaughlin of Quincy, Theresa Leoncello of Quincy, Jimmy Donahue of So. Boston, Patty Boyce of Quincy, Diane Freda of So. Boston, Denny Donahue of Quincy, Johnny Donahue of Weymouth, Marion Donahue of Dorchester, Janice Niak of Sharon, Eddie Donahue of Weymouth, and the late Freddie McDonald, Eleanor Hayes, and David Donahue. Cherished grandfather of Paul, Kerri and Kasey McAteer; Stephen and Shaun Donahue; Courtney, Meghan and George McManus; Daniel Deery and Scott Creedan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368. Bill worked at Sears in Boston as a Supervisor for over 30 years. After retiring from Sears, Bill worked as a custodian at Msgr. Ryan High School in Dorchester. He was a life time member of the John P. McKeon Post, No. 146 AMVETS. Bill was known for his sense of humor.
