William H. Herman

Herman, William H. of Hingham, April 4, 2002. Beloved husband of Jacqueline L. (Hamilton) Herman. Loving father of Veronica L., Lawrence A., and Alexandra L. Herman, all of Hingham. Brother of Jacqueline C. Waynen of Hingham, Susan M. Aprea of Norwell and Holly A. Coughlin of Hingham. Nephew of Mrs. Bernard K. Herman of Waquoit. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in St. John the Evangelist Church, corner of Main and Water Street, Hingham, Monday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Mr. Herman was a graduate of Thayer Academy in Braintree and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. He was a director of the Boston Retail Grocers and was on the board and served on many committees of the New England Convenience Stores Association. He was a member of the National Association of Convenience Stores, the MetroSouth Chamber of Commerce, the Hingham Republican Town Committee and the Boy Scouts of America. Also, he was involved with the Tournament for life, a golf tournament for children with brain cancer. Donations in memory of Mr. Herman may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
