William G. Donahue

 Donahue, William G. of Hingham, died December 5, 2015. 

The beloved husband of 57 years to Jean F. (Silvia)  Donahue of Hingham. Cherished father of  William T. Donahue (Brenda) of Greenport, NY, Catherine E. Trueman (Wes) of Rockland, ME, Brian P. Donahue (Kristin) of Carver, Sean M. Donahue (Victoria) of Rockland, MA and the late Mary Anne Donahue and Karen M. Willms (Gary). Brother of  Charles  Donahue of Abington, Barbara Asnes of Hingham and  Richard Donahue of Weymouth. William is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In his spare time Bill enjoyed being surrounded by his loving and expansive family. He was an accomplished wood worker, electrician, and an award winning photographer.  Bill made several pieces of furniture that adorn the family home and his pictures were featured in the annual Hingham Calendar contest. He relished traveling the islands and Europe with his wife as well as volunteering for the Hingham Elder services. His sense of humor was as large in life as he was and has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. In short, he was simply an All Around Good Guy. A proud U. S. Army Korean War Veteran.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on  Saturday 2-4 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 4pm on Saturday in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham.

Burial will be private.
